You are being invited to participate in the Mindful Social Media Usage Scale, an online self-assessment tool designed to measure how mindfully you use social media platforms. This form explains the purpose of the scale, what you can expect during the testing process, and your rights as a participant.
Purpose of the Scale:
The purpose of the Mindful Social Media Usage Scale is to help you reflect on your social media habits and assess whether you engage with these platforms in a mindful and intentional manner. Mindfulness refers to being fully present and aware of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors without judgment. This scale aims to provide insight into how you use social media and how it may impact your well-being.
What You Can Expect:
The Mindful Social Media Usage Scale will consist of a series of statements about your social media behavior and attitudes. You will be asked to rate how frequently you engage in each described behavior or thought pattern on a scale of 1 to 5, where 1 represents “Almost Never” and 5 represents “Almost Always.” Please respond honestly and to the best of your ability.
