Technical Branch Officer
ELIGIBILITY
- For 10th: Completion of 10th grade.
- For 12th: Completion of 12th grade with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry (PMC) stream.
- For Graduates: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (B.E/B.Tech) in relevant fields like Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, etc.
- Training: After selection, candidates undergo training at various defense training academies such as the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), or Air Force Academy (AFA).
ENTRANCE TESTS

AVAILABLE COURSES
- NDA Entrance Exam: Conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) twice a year for admission to the National Defence Academy.
- Technical Entry Scheme (TES): For 10+2 students with PCM for direct entry into engineering branches.
- Combined Defence Services (CDS) Exam: Conducted by UPSC for graduates to join the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), or Air Force Academy (AFA).
- University Entry Scheme (UES): For final year engineering students.
