Indian Army Officer

For 10th: Completion of 10th grade. Must pass the National Defence Academy (NDA) entrance exam after 10+2.
For 12th: Completion of 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) streams.
Training: After selection, candidates undergo rigorous training at the Indian Military Academy (IMA) or Officers Training Academy (OTA).

NDA Entrance Exam: Conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) twice a year for admission to the NDA.
Combined Defence Services (CDS) Exam: Conducted by UPSC for graduates to join the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Officers Training Academy (OTA), Naval Academy, and Air Force Academy.

Degree Courses:
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Defence Studies
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Military Studies
- Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering (for Technical Branch)
Postgraduate Courses:
- Master of Arts (MA) in Defence Studies
- Master of Science (M.Sc) in Military Science
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Defence Management

Combat Operations: Leading troops in combat situations.
Administrative Roles: Managing personnel, logistics, and resources.
Training and Development: Training new recruits and conducting specialized courses.
Staff Positions: Serving in various staff and planning roles.
Special Forces: Opportunities in specialized units like Para Commandos, Special Forces, etc.
Peacekeeping Missions: Representing India in UN peacekeeping operations.
