ELIGIBILITY
  • For 10th: Completion of 10th grade with a strong foundation in science subjects.
  • For 12th: Completion of 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) as core subjects.
  • For Graduation: A bachelor’s degree in Medicine, typically:
    • MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery).
ENTRANCE TESTS
To become a Government Medical Officer, candidates must first clear the following entrance exams:
  • NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) – Mandatory for admission into MBBS programs in India.
  • State or national-level public service commission exams after completing MBBS, depending on the specific state’s recruitment process (e.g., UPSC CMS, State PSC exams).
AVAILABLE COURSES
  • Undergraduate Courses:
    • MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) – 5.5 years including a 1-year internship.
  • Postgraduate Courses (optional):
    • MD (Doctor of Medicine) – Specialization in fields like General Medicine, Pediatrics, Surgery, etc.
    • MS (Master of Surgery) – Specialization in surgery-related fields.
