Counselor
ELIGIBILITY
- For 10th: Completion of 10th grade. Interest in psychology, empathy, and good communication skills.
- For 12th: Completion of 12th grade in any stream. Additional coursework in psychology or human development is beneficial.
- Higher Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work is required for entry-level counseling positions. A Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology or Clinical Psychology for advanced practice.
ENTRANCE TESTS
Entrance tests may include:
- National Entrance Tests for Psychology or Social Work programs
- University-specific entrance exams for Counseling Psychology programs
- Interviews assessing communication skills, empathy, and ethical awareness
